Grace Contin, also known as Odemin, which translates to "strawberry," was as sweet as the finest summer strawberries. As the first employee of S&N Convenience and a founding member of our growing team, Grace was a constant source of wisdom and support during the early days of our business. Her unwavering dedication and efforts were instrumental in
our growth and success. Grace was the heart of S&N Convenience, she welcomed each new team member with kindness, fostering a sense of family within S&N. She was a consistent source of wisdom,
support, good times, and laughter. Her encouraging words, often beginning with “way to go, ” still resonate within our walls. We are immensely grateful for Grace and all her contributions. She was more than just an employee; she was family, and her example made us all better. She is deeply missed by everyone who knew her. Beyond her role at S&N, Grace was a passionate advocate for her community, dedicating countless hours to various organizations close to her heart. As a mother and grandmother, she was immensely proud of her family and a constant source of love and support. We will always cherish the time we had with her and remember the wisdom she imparted to us all. Grace Contin was truly one of a kind.

David Missabie was eagerly anticipating the opening of our store, so much so that he became our first paying customer by purchasing items before they even made it to the
shelves we had yet to construct. With family ties to the lot on which we built S&N Convenience, David was supportive of our endeavor from the very beginning. He was a
constant presence at our store, parking his golf cart in his reserved spot and ensuring all the dogs at S&N were well fed.
David consistently brought smiles to our faces with his stories and wisdom. Our front deck became his stage, where he shared life lessons and anecdotes that would either have you laughing until you cried or reconsidering your perspective on life. David was always in tune with the happenings at S&N, encouraging us to grow both as individuals and as a business.
He made a lasting impression on everyone he met, whether it was sharing a coDee with a stranger who would become a friend or checking in on our team as if they were his own family. On occasion, he even shared with us the best scone most of us had ever tasted. David loved easily and freely, making everyone he met feel like instant friends and bringing out the best in the S&N family. Despite facing his share of hardships and health setbacks, he always approached these challenges with grace, dignity, and courage. He was an example to us all of how to rise to any occasion and meet life's difficult moments with humility and grace.
David's support of our business, its team members, and his contagious zest for life left an indelible mark on our business and the people within it. He will be sorely missed.
